For the ultimate in pet sitting reliability, Tails On Trails has implemented a new standard of accountability and client confidence.

We use Pet Check Technology™, a proprietary system that assures all parties your pet is being cared for with real-time certainty. We do this by using mobile barcode technology, email alerts, GPS tracking, and online tools for accuracy and convenience. 

Our clients are able to track the GPS coordinates of their dog's walk, as well as manage their pet sitting schedule through our secure Client Management portal. Automated reporting of the caregiver's arrival and departure times arrive via email, so you can see exactly when your pets were visited and walked.

Mobile Barcode Technology

When you sign up with Tails On Trails, a unique barcode containing an individual identification code is generated for your residence. We print barcodes on magnetic strips and place them on your refrigerator for easy access by our caregivers. 

Real-Time Certainty™

Our pet sitters are equipped with Pet Check Technology™ on their mobile devices, enabling them to scan your personalized barcodes. Caregivers scan your barcode upon entry and exit of your home, which are processed in real-time. The barcode information is synchronized to your schedule and is verified for accuracy. You can opt-in to receive real-time email alerts each time your pet sitter arrives and departs from your residence.

GPS Tracking

After you receive your real-time alert confirming our caregiver's arrival to your home, you can log onto your personal and secure Tails On Trails Client Management page to track the GPS coordinates of your dog's walk. You'll never have to second guess where or how long your dog was walked with the Pet Check Technology™ system.

Online Tools

We provide a secure, personalized management page, where you can schedule pet care visits, view past visit information, as well as make requests for appointments outside your normal schedule. Once a new request is made, you will receive an email reply within 24 hours.

Activation

When you sign up for Pet Check Technology™, there is a one-time activation fee that includes access to the Client Management system and printed custom barcode labels for your home.
