We are beyond happy with Tails On Trails services so far and we are especially pleased with David our walker. The Pet Check Technology alone is impressive. Knowing where our puppy is walking and at exactly what time and for how long is such a comfort.

However, what we value most is the quality of services. We have noticed that our puppy has been so much happier since she has been walked by David. She has a ton of energy so it is important that a walker makes the most of the time with our dog. Every day we look forward to reading the little note about how our Ellie did on her walk.

Shane

She has been walking Shane for 3 1/2 years now and we are very fortunate to have her. Shane is currently a nine year Golden Retriever cancer survivor. He has 3 limbs but still quite a bit of energy left. He requires a little extra attention and patience and Judy has always been so kind, loving and patient with him. Judy has always been on time for scheduled walks and makes sure Shane gets his full walking time in for bathroom relief, fresh air, and exercise. She is trustworthy. 

Often I am home when she arrives or returns for walks with Shane, but sometimes I am out with my children. I have always felt comfortable with her being in my home both when I am here and not. She is a friendly, familiar face to my children and I, and Shane loves when she walks through the door. She has also watched Shane for us on weekends or when we were away and has been very accommodating, making sure Shane is taken care of lovingly.

 Cow

A few months ago, I called upon Judy’s dog walking services for my new puppy named Cow, an adorable black and white French bulldog. This was my first experience as a dog-owner and the combination of house-breaking Cow, leash training him and obedience training was difficult for me, especially when working long hours away from home.  

I really needed an experienced, loving, patient and knowledgeable person to not only walk Cow, but also act as a go-to person on so many topics that come up when raising a puppy. Judy is that person. She is extremely organized, responsible and respectful. She loves animals and treats Cow as if he were her own. He gets so excited when she comes to take him out, that he sometimes pees himself (he’s gotten much better at holding his bladder now). 

She consults me on everything from his stools to his skin to his behavior. I love how caring and concerned she is about his well-being. She is not simply a dog-walker; she’s part of the family and has been instrumental in my caring for Cow. Hands-down, Judy is the best I’ve seen out there and she has my full recommendation.

Frankie

My husband and I always call Judy “Frankie’s girlfriend” because he is smitten with her. He wags his tail like crazy and tries to give her kisses every time he sees her. We highly recommend Judy and Tails On Trails for many reasons, some of which are:
• Judy is extremely reliable; she always shows up in the time frame promised and takes excellent care of our Frankie.
• She is loving and gentle towards him, treating him as she would her own pets.
• Judy makes sure Frankie is all set before she leaves by giving him a treat, fresh bowl of water and some belly rubs or butt scratches at the end of each walk.
• She is very professional and trustworthy.
• She is truly interested in Frankie’s well being and happiness on each walk.
• Judy gets to know Frankie, taking his personality into consideration when trying to pair him with an appropriate walking pal.

When we moved from Hoboken to Jersey City we were lucky that Judy could continue walking Frankie. Frankie’s daily “Judy Dates” helped him adjust to his new neighborhood. He was nervous and a little depressed when we first moved, but because he trusted Judy as his guide through his new neighborhood I think this helped him regain his confidence faster. 

Normally we leave Frankie at my parents house when on vacation, but this time we are having Judy care for Frankie. We have complete trust and faith that he will be taken well cared for while we are away which will help us relax and enjoy our vacation. 

Not only is Judy a wonderful pet lover who I trust with my beloved Frankie, she is a wonderful person who I consider a friend as well. I am happy to email or speak with anyone who would like a verbal reference!
